Tiger Motorhomes Announces New Model

Provan Industries, LLC announces a new model to the Tiger Motorhomes product line:    “The Bengal Tiger, by Provan Industries, LLC”.  Based on the Tiger CX platform, the Bengal Tiger retains most of the attributes of the Tiger CX with one important distinction.  The new model will feature a taller roof, which will yield increased interior height.  The CX has an interior height of 6’1” in the entry area, sloping to 5’11” in the rear of the coach.  This top gives the Tiger CX an overall height of approximately 10 feet.  The Bengal Tiger will have an interior height of 6’4” throughout the coach, which will make the overall height of the unit approximately 10’6”.

 “Though the Tiger has a widely-acclaimed and appreciated interior layout, those of taller stature find the interior height at times challenging,” says Mark Guild, General Manager of Provan Industries, LLC.  “We have reacted to this feedback by providing the Bengal Tiger with increased vertical living space.  We are certain that our customers will appreciate having the choice between two fine models to appropriately suit their needs.”

Tiger Motorhomes Now Offered on the Dodge Ram Chassis [2.1.10] 

Provan Industries, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of the Dodge Ram to the chassis lineup for Tiger Motorhomes.  Effective immediately, Tiger Motorhomes can be ordered on the Ram 3500 Crew Cab with the 6.7-Liter in-line 6-cylinder Cummins Turbo Diesel.  The chassis can be ordered in both the single and dual rear wheel configuration.  In addition, the chassis can be ordered in the SLT or Laramie packages.

“We have received numerous requests over the past year for the Ram chassis with the Cummins Diesel engine,” says Mark Guild, General Manager of Provan Industries, LLC.  “The Cummins Diesel is considered to be one of the best-in-class engines for the one-ton trucks.  Additionally, Dodge has re-branded its lineup of heavy duty pickups under the Ram name.  With this have come significant improvements to the transmission, interior amenities, and features and functionality.  We are very proud to offer the Ram/Cummins combination to our Tiger customers.”

The 2010 Ram 3500 is available for immediate orders.  The 2010 truck meets the new emission standards, and has undergone some redesigning to make the vehicle very functional.  Of particular interest to potential Tiger owners are the numerous in-floor storage compartments in the crew cab area, the addition of a 115-volt auxiliary outlet in the dashboard of the truck, and the Cummins Diesel exhaust brake as standard.

Update on Big-Three Chassis Manufacturing

Even though the automotive industry is well into the 2010 model year, there is plenty of confusion revolving around what chassis’ are available and when.  Normally, the manufacturers start the new production year in early Fall (2010s come out in the Fall of 2009, etc.).  This year, however, due to the required diesel engine upgrades, each manufacturer has taken a different approach to launching their new models.  Provan Industries, LLC is attempting to keep abreast of all developments and update price lists as appropriate.  Please note below the status of each manufacturer and the corresponding pricing information related to the Tiger.  We will continue to post updates on our website:

 General Motors:

 Tiger offered on Standard, Extended, and Crew Cabs (dually only); gas and diesel

 Gas engines:  2010 model year production for all models is active and normal.  Please refer to the current price list on our website for Tiger pricing on the gas engine models.

 Diesel engines:  GM is no longer producing 2010 diesel engine models.  The 2011 Duramax Diesel is slated to go into production in May of this year.  We anticipate receiving pricing and being able to place orders in late March/early April.

 Ford Motor Company:

 Tiger offered on Standard, Super Cab (extended), and Crew Cabs; gas and diesel
